Book Launch & Easy Digging Screening

The time to panic is now!

I’ll keep this edition of the newsletter short & sweet & low on musings. Mostly because I’m panicking with my book’s release so close, and I have a growing to-do list! AHHHHHHHHHH!

Spells to Mend Broken Hearts Launch Event

My book will officially hit shelves on September 15th, and my launch event will be held on September 18th at 8:30pm at the wonderful Birdhouse Books in Austin, TX! There will be tarot, a conversation with the wonderful Kathryn Ormsbee, and books available for me to sign. Would love to see lots of friends there!

Here is the RSVP Link. There is an option to include a copy of the book in your RSVP!

Not able to make the event? Pre-orders are very much appreciated. Spells would make a great gift for a tween/teen in your life or just a great read in general if you’re wanting some more queer coming of age on your shelf!

Pre-order here! And/or mark as “Want to Read” on Goodreads!

I’m equally excited and nervous about this book being out in the world. I’ve dreamt of this for so long and though I’ve written many (many) books and had close friends read drafts, this is the first time my words will be OUT THERE being read by STRANGERS.

Easy Digging Screening in Lancaster, PA

We are continuing our pursuit for a distributor (turns out it’s a lot more complicated than I originally thought, whoops), but in the meantime, Phillip (the film’s star) arranged a screening at Zoetropolis Cinema in his hometown of Lancaster, PA. He’ll be present for a Q&A, and if you know anyone in the area, let them know! It’ll be a great time.

Thanks for reading! More inside baseball about film distribution, book releases, and maybe some fun video store nonsense to come!

P.S. Look how big my kitten Bruce has gotten. He’s 5 months old now!
